The Shabazz Family and X Legacy would love to have your presence this coming Tuesday, May 19th, 2015 at the Malcolm X and Dr. Betty Shabazz Center (formerly, the Audubon Ballroom) to celebrate the courageous, inspiring and visionary life and birth date of El Hajj Malik El-Shabazz, Malcolm X. Live music from 6 to 8 p.m. Celebration to follow.

This coming Tuesday would have been his 90th Birthday and we will have a short program then an evening of good music, networking and celebration. Malcolm X did smile often as much as he was very committed to condemning and prosecuting injustice. Later this year, there will be a series of announcements regarding X Legacy projects and plans but for now, we wish to pay our respects and celebrate the man who inspired many of us with his life and legacy.

We will have a festive evening, smile and celebrate Brother Malcolm this coming Tuesday. Please spread the word and invite those you feel would love to attend. The event is open to the public. The event is free (donations to X Legacy or Malcolm X Foundation are welcome).
