Skope is here today to tell you about a rising Artist/Song-Writer/Producer who is starting to buzz in NYC and beyond. J-EyE has been doing his thing for several years, writing and recording songs that combine an ambitious and aggressive blend of Hip-Hop, R&B and Pop, and keep listeners anxious for more.
A chance meeting in Miami with Timbaland led him to work for several months in the studio with the super-producer and his right hand man Danja. There J-EyE rubbed elbows with industry elite such as Missy Elliot, Jennifer Lopez, Baby and Mannie Fresh.
Now back home in Brooklyn, J-EyE has been working non-stop; doing shows throughout NYC and lending his versatile song-writing and production abilities to upcoming projects with artists from Bad Boy, Mosley Music Group and E1 Music (formerly KOCH Records). Last week he performed at Hot 97’s Monday Night Talent Showcase, where he took home the grand prize with an eye-catching performance of his new single “I Get Around.”
